The retirement landscape has changed with a shift away from defined benefit plans to defined contribution plans. This places more responsibility of saving for retirement on employees. The majority of people aren't saving enough to meet their retirement income needs which inevitably create challenges for employers. Employers may be faced with a workforce that can't afford to retire leading to higher operating cost and lower productivity.

Using modern plan design strategies companies can structure their retirement plan to help participants save earlier, save enough and potentially accumulate more wealth during their working years.

We will discuss several strategies that plan sponsors can incorporate into their current plans to achieve the above goals and help participants achieve retirement readiness.
